Lets hope they remaster them - the stereo effects on the original versions can be really painful on a pair of headphones.
+1
The quality of The Beatles CD releases are, for the most part, poor. Of course, they date from 1987, and digital tech has improved greatly since then.
The music itself could also do with a remix. Mixing drums entirely in one stereo channel is difficult to take in headphones!

That's not a poster, it's a big iPhone. They've got one in every store window. Different images scroll from bottom to top. Obviously this photo is in mid scroll.
BTW - All the iphones in iPhone commercials are very different than my iPhone. They show a small little photo of the person calling instead of a big full screen photo. Don't know why. It's the same in this ad.
If you take a pic with your iPhone and use it in your contacts, it will appear full screen.
If you assign a photo in your address book on the desktop, it will appear a small photo.

This is the last of the mythical creatures shots. The Rok was another one too big for the frame. I did take one wide-angle of the whole thing, but it lacked the drama of this one. And look! I finally have a bird picture to share! ;)

I have dinosaur fossil pictures from this same day, and I also have a series of pictures of Lilburn, GA old town (suburb where I live that is near Atlanta). Anyone have a preference?

How about we cut sweetheart pension deals for politicians that pay them 100s of thousands of dollars every year.
I'm not to familiar with Canada's finances, but that kind of thing is literally a drop in the bucket in ANY country's budgets. That couldn't possibly even add up to billion. Thats not nearly enough to offset the kind of cuts that education faces in this country, again I'm not sure of Canada's situation though.

I really hope HTML 5 video will be widely adopted and we will be less dependent of Flash.
And is also an open standard.

It's the fourth most behind Mandarin, English, and Hindi.
http://www.krysstal.com/spoken.html
(just in case you were wondering)
Well there you go, was wondering about Chinese (mainly Mandarin), didn't think of Hindi. So English is only the 2nd most spoken language, huh. Add Spanish and Portuguese, and it would be 2nd! Well OK, not how it works...
So Mandarin, English, Spanish and possibly Hindi dictionaries should be hot sellers on an eBookPod then.

So Walmart is full of obese hillbillies?
I bought my iPad 2 at Walmart: 7 folks in line, 15 iPad 2's. Everyone was very nice. Im a 24yr old 6'2'', 190lb Systems engineer(with all my teeth)...and I shop there all the time. Dont hate...
I went to walmart on launch day at 4pm I was #5 in line and they had 6. Best Buy had 40 in line. I was out of there by 5:05 with my 64 gig wifi. I ordered one for my wife on line I got a 5 week date. They sent my cover right away, and took full payment from my debit card. Thats why they should send the ordered ones before they open to another chain.

These new nanos are awesome! I'd get one if I didnt have my 60 gig 5G :D
I like black and silver models most of all. I didnt like black 1G nanos(scratches and stuff), but this alu black is great! :)
Indeed, these Nanos show that Apple has NO competition at all in the market...they are gonna sell like hotcakes, even more now than ever...there are simply NO downsides with the new Nanos.
The black one is already on my list...

Hum this is brilliant marketing.
The subscription price serves as an anchor price that makes you feel the regular price is cheaper, hence more buying are expected at regular price.

Wal-Mart is a massive contributor to officeholders in both major U.S. political parties, but especially those in the Republican Party -- so anyone who seriously thinks the company will be given pause by the probable illegality of its proposed actions is dreaming.

Are you kidding? Netflix destroyed it with streaming. Disney and Sony aren't even advertising for it anymore. The Blu Ray players are being sold dirt cheap at clearance sales because it's a dying/dead format.
And I never liked it anyway, the 25 GB disc wasn't filled all the way because of the stupidly lossy compression, and it was expensive.
Maybe, but up here in Canada we have to pay through the roof for bandwidth so Netflix is kind of lame. I don't think all the players are being sold that cheap there are just more companies making cheap ones for the masses. I personally like Blu Ray for the quality that Netflix can't offer.
However, I could be wrong does Netflix deliver 1080P?

A 4" screen is more important to me than 4g. After using 4'3" devices, 3'5" feels downright puny.

I disagree that people don't care about flash players. Plenty of sites out there use flash extensively and do not offer a non-flash version. Adding adobe flash capability to the iphone would make it that much better in my opinion. Just because apple doesn't want it, doesn't mean it's not useful. I for one believe that apple "sometimes" listens to it's users, and if enough people complain, apple will react. Think apps for the iphone (remember apple's stand, it's an ipod, not a computer), cut/paste and push service. Background apps seem to be the next barrier to be broken, why not flash?
As far as adobe and MS "holding back" web progression, the whole point of flash is that it is a tool that makes highly interactive media sites easier to accomplish.

Uhm, you are a bit confused.
Which tells me, that Apple has done a poor job of getting Safari to work well with Flash.
That's like saying that Microsoft should make windows work better with iTunes... kinda backwards.
Given that Safari is the fastest browser out there, I think Apple has done their part. Adobe needs to step up, and optimize flash for osx.

Anybody having issues with Facebook at all? It redirects me to mobile facebook half the time. I hope Apple can resolve these issues. They need people like Facebook on board with them.

The iPhone 4's 5 mp camera has superior quality against its competitors 8mp. The reason being is that the quality of the lens that is in the iPhone is higher than the opposing. I hope to see crystal clear hdr photos and 1080p 30fps video. 1080p on the next iPad would rock!

If this is true then Apple has played their cards well. And if they were in place to release the iPhone and full screen iPod by Thanksgiving then they would really make a killing this holiday season. But getting the entire line-up refreshed is awesome.
I hope they eventually make a 15" MacBook and a 13" MacBook Pro. I think they are in a good spot to expand the line-up to cover a larger base of consumers. They're not dummies, the iBook/PowerBook line-up was great.

This is my new desk setup: http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/xx1/igesundheit/DSCN0774.jpg.
The white macbook (with a screen) is a 2010 unibody white MacBook. the previous owner of it spilled coffee on it, got a new computer and gave me this one. It is my mom's new computer :D... I just havent given it to her yet... The MacBook Pro that you see in the picture is my own MacBook Pro that I paid for. The headless MacBook is a circa 2006 C2D macbook, which was also given to me. It had a dead screen, and apple quoted the previous owner an exorbitant amount, and decided that it would just be better to get a new macbook... I removed the screen, airport antennae, and isight from the display assembly. The isight is taped on to my wooden monitor stand, and the airport antennae are under the slide-out table where the headless MacBook is.

I've always felt that WW2 was justified though the way we ended the war was unfortunate and un-necessary.
World War Two is a pretty bad example for pointing out a justified war. Consider the 28 long months that the US sat and watched. Consider that Pearl Harbor was not just a spur-of-the-moment attack perpetrated by a madman but a response to what was considered an aggressive position taken by the US (cutting off oil exports to Japan).
There was an organization called "America First" which lobbied hard to remain neutral in the face of that conflict over there in Europe (because a great many Americans — including JFK — were of the opinion that WWI was entered for the benefit of the bankers). America First even objected to Lend-Lease, without which Britain might well have fallen to the German assault.
If America had taken a timely, proactive interest in protecting her allies from Germany's empire-building adventurism, millions of lives would probably have been spared. This is the lesson we should take thence. Blithely allowing crazy leaders to pursue empire unchecked is a recipe for worse to come. What happens elsewhere is not necessarily somebody-else's-problem.
